The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering in association with the Unmanned Underwater Vehicle (UUV) Laboratory is planning to organize an enthusiastic event, “BIT TechSurge-2023" - An Innovative Idea Pitching & Project Presentation Competition on 06.03.2023 (Monday).
The event brochure and selection criteria details are attached. Presentation Certificates will be issued to all the participants after the completion of the event.
Problem Statements:
1. Deep learning algorithm for Biodegradable and Non-Biodegradable floating waste classification.
2. Design of an Emergency Fail-Safe Mechanism system for autonomous vehicles.
3. Effective propeller design for underwater vehicles.
Last date for submission: 04.03.2023
Certain Instructions to the participants:
v Students can register for the Idea Pitching individually or in teams.
v There can be no more than 4 members in a team (1 Female student is mandatory in the team)
v Selected ideas on the criteria (refer to the attachment) below will be asked to give a presentation for 15-20 minutes (max 15 PowerPoint slides – Refer to the Submission Link for PPT format) defining a specific solution to listed problems in front of the Jury. The date and time of the presentation will be informed to the selected participants.
v The idea must be original.
v No team/contestant can take part in more than one category.
v Few Selected ideas will be incubated by the UUV lab for further development to create a success story.
v Organizer reserves the right of admittance for all contestants and can eliminate contestants without disclosing any reason.
